Pottery Lovers Corner
Collecting is a passion for a lot of people. But Southern Pottery is one of the best ways to learn about the culture and history of our Southern States. Just imagine the back breaking hard work that was put into a simple crock. Digging the clay, pounding it out just to make the necessary crocks and jugs for food storage. To the shapes of Modern forms we use today. Potters have given us so much to appriciate today and tomorrow. Bullet Identification Section Can you help us identify these pieces? What's more fun than finding that special piece? Trying to figure out who made it!

This jug  appears to be signed J.G Patirk 5/88.There are 6 carved fish all arround it. And what looks like a thousand legged cinpede around the spout. Does anyone know of this potter and the area he worked in?  Bullet
