Log Cabin Pottery (1926 -1933) Guildford, Guildford Co. North Carolina. Lead glazed earthtone pottery vase. Measures 11" tall. Incised Log Cabin mark on the bottom. Attributed to Jonah Owens. Condition, 2 pinhead size glaze flakes on the top rim. Very common for a piece this age. Normal imperfections that were done during the pottery process. HTF in this size and condition.

Beautiful signed example of North Carolina pottery. This wonderful Rebecca jug stands 13 3/16" tall. Has wonderful earthtone lead glaze colors of green ,different shades of brown, cream & black.. Joe Owen was well known for his coggling designs. And this beautiful piece shows all of Joe's talent. Stamped on the bottom Joe Owen. Condition, in the handle area there was some type of organic material in the clay that caused an imperfection the glaze.( common in early pottery where dug clay was used. Otherwise excellent.
